The Organization for Students of African Descent (OSAD) evolved from the Black Student Liberation Front (BSLF). It was pioneered through struggle and nurtured through generations. Many OSAD alums also participated in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).
The reunion is a celebration for all classes and generations, bringing together one united family.

Alumni Walk
The event will be a vibrant tribute to life, highlighted by a “Butterfly Ascension” to honor those we’ve lost. It will provide a platform to exchange treasured recollections and inspiring anecdotes about our fellow alums and friends. Additionally, this occasion will present a chance for everyone to rediscover the campus and capture group photos.

Experience a Sunday cruise with brunch aboard the Colonial Belle, the largest tour boat operating on the historic Erie Canal. The cruise will offer delicious food and stunning views.
Our distinguished alumna from the class of ’77, Minister Linda Simmons, along with alumnus Pastor Gary Owens, will lead an Interfaith Service. In addition, Robert James (BJ), another esteemed alumnus, will inspire us with a keynote address. We’ll craft a morning brimming with camaraderie, motivation, and cherished reminiscences.
